Bachelor No. 5, Steve Bimson

Runners

Steve is from Austin, Texas, and moved to Seattle almost two years ago to work for Microsoft.  He graduated from the University of Texas, loves college football and bleeds burnt orange. He misses the people in Texas, most of all his niece and nephew, but he likes the laidback Seattle lifestyle and how alive the city feels. There’s always fun to be had!

His friends, who call him Viking de Rojo or Oscito, would tell you this 27-year-old’s hobby is hobbies. He has tried or wants to learn almost anything. Currently, the list includes scuba, motorcycles, photography, sailing, skeet shooting, backpacking, skiing, canoeing, kayaking, mountain biking, sports of any kind, underwater basket weaving, lacrosse, golf, tennis, spooning, rock climbing, hiking and, of course, long, romantic walks on the beach.

Steve can’t seem to get enough of travelling. His most memorable trips include St. Thomas and Switzerland. Up next, he hopes to go to Egypt and to Australia and hopes that one day soon a sailboat will figure into his travel plans. Who knows, maybe someday he’ll even conquer Everest.

He loves Tex-Mex food and margaritas, of course, and his favorite movies are “The Three Amigos” and “The Jerk.”

Steve's Date: Lock 'Em and Load 'Em
You'd better be up for an adventure. I'll start by picking you up for a motorcycle ride out of Seattle to a shooting range, where we'll do some skeet shooting. We'll return to town afterward for dinner at The Melting Pot, a fondue restaurant.
