The Think Global Act Local campaign is kicking off with a date auction to benefit Roses and Rosemary, a Seattle nonprofit that funds medication for HIV-positive orphans in Africa.
 
Come out to Sole Repair Shop in Capitol Hill from 7 to 10 p.m. Aug. 6 to meet -- and bid on dates with -- some of BEAN's most eligible bachelors and bachelorettes. And for those couples out there, we'll have silent-auction date packages for you to bid on -- everything from kayaking to dance lessons, theater tickets to restaurant gift cards.
